How do I add a workshop to my registration? Are workshops included in conference registration?

You can register for workshops on the registration form. Workshops are not included in conference registration and incur an additional fee. For more details visit

I only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible?

Yes, one-day conference registration is available. Please note that your registration is valid only for sessions and events on that day and separate invoice will be created for the payment. One day session costs 80 EUR for Conference Days And 150 EUR for workshops and school visits

I just want to attend one session. Is that possible?

No, that is not possible

Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I want to attend?

Yes,it is mandatory to pre-register for the conference.On the spot registrations will not be entertained.

What is included in the cost of my registration?

Can I substitute/transfer someone else to attend the Conference?

You can substitute someone else by emailing with the new registrant's name and contact information.This should be done 1 month prior to the start of the event.

Do you have an early bird discount?

Yes, we do have early bird discounts on symposium & conference fees.The last date for the early bird discount is 15.09.2018.

Are there any discounts for groups?

For a group of 5 or more: 5% discount will be offered on each participants fee. For a group of 10 or more: 10% discount will be offered on each participants fee.

Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accommodations?

All costs for air transportation and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the participant.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Yes. After you register online, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration.

What are the cancellation possibilities and refund policies?

If the Participant cancelled his registration in any case, Refund Policy: (** minus applicable bank charges) Cancellations before September 15, 2018 - 100% refund ** Cancellations between September 15 and Oct 6, 2018 - 50% refund ** Cancellations after October 6, 2018 - No refund (In Any case including visa refusal) (** minus applicable bank charges)

Will I get any refund if my visa gets rejected?

There is no refund even in the case of visa rejection after October 6, 2018. For more details please visit our cancellation & refund policy.

Is the conference schedule available?

The tentative program is posted on our website. A full conference schedule, including conference sessions, will be available on our website 2 weeks prior to start of the event. The paid participants will also be updated via email.

I have cancelled by Conference Registration. Will you also cancel my hotel reservation?

No. Cancelling your registration will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Please contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. Your hotel reservation cancellation is subject to the hotel's cancellation policy.

How to arrive in Tampere?

  • By Bus: Timetables and tickets for the bus from Helsinki to Tampere and vice versa can be found at And also at
