Registration and Payment

How can I register? What is the registration Fees?


To apply for the symposium, the participants need to fill up the registration form. Click Here For Registration Please visit the event page for deadlines, rates, and other registration information. https://www.ccefinland.org/7th-symposium




Am I eligible for the member fees?


All 2017- 2019 members are eligible for Symposium/Conference member rates.If you have a question about your membership status, please email info@ccefinland.org




How do I add a workshop to my registration? Are workshops included in conference registration?


You can register for workshops on the registration form. Workshops are not included in conference registration and incur an additional fee. For more details visit https://www.ccefinland.org/7th-symposium




I want to attend one day of the conference only, is that possible?


Yes, one-day conference registration is available. Please note that your registration is valid only for sessions and events on that day and separate invoice will be created for the payment. One day session costs 150 EUR for Conference day for all categories. And 200 EUR for workshop and school visit.




I just want to attend one session. Is that possible?


No, that is not possible.




Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I want to attend?


Yes, it is mandatory to pre-register for the conference. On the spot registrations will not be entertained.




What is included in the cost of my registration?


A printed copy of the Symposium Program Admission to sessions as per the registration - including the plenary & featured speaker sessions and sessions in parallel conferences Lunch and refreshments as per the schedule Online LMS access of CCE's Google Classroom Certificate of participation Visa Assistance (Invitation letter) Online Abstract book Opportunity to submit the full paper for e-book publication Possibility to refer the selected papers to the open journal Evening Reception.




How can I obtain an invoice/receipt for a registration or group of registrations?


Invoice/Receipt is available on request. Please email the details at info@ccefinland.org




Can I substitute/transfer someone else to attend the Conference?


You can substitute someone else by emailing info@ccefinland.org with the new registrant's name and contact information. This should be done 1 month prior to the start of the event.




What is the registration fee for Symposium?





Do you have an early bird discount?


Yes, we do have super early bird discounts on symposium & conference fees.The last date for the early bird discount is 31.12.2019.




Are there any discounts for groups?


For a group of 5 or more: 5% discount will be offered on each participants fee. For a group of 10 or more: 10% discount will be offered on each participants fee.




Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accommodations?


All costs for air transportation and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the participant.




Will I receive confirmation of my registration?


Yes. After you register online, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration.




What types of payments are accepted for the conference fee?


We accept bank transfer, paypal & credit card payments. For credit card payment, please contact us at info@ccefinland.org




What are the cancellation possibilities and refund policies?


Up to 90 days: 80% of the cost will be refunded Up to 30 days: 50% of the cost will be refunded Less than 30 days: No refund




Will I get any refund if my visa get rejected?


There is no refund even in the case of visa rejection after December 31, 2019. For more details please visit our cancellation & refund policy.

How can I receive a list of participants or attendees?


The participant list will be updated on our website 3 weeks prior to the event.




Is the conference schedule available?


The tentative program is posted on our website. A full conference schedule, including conference sessions, will be available on our website 2 weeks prior to start of the event. The paid participants will also be updated via email.




What are the registration deadlines?


The last date for registration is 31.12.2019

I have cancelled by Conference Registration. Will you also cancel my hotel reservation?


No. Cancelling your registration will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Please contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. Your hotel reservation cancellation is subject to the hotel's cancellation policy.

I'm a presenter - is there a PowerPoint template I should be using?


The presentation guidelines will be emailed to all the participants one month prior to the start of the event.




Can I participate as an audience?


Yes, you can participate as an audience.The fee structure will be same as published on website.

What is the difference between Conference and Symposium?


Symposium: A conference or meeting to discuss a particular subject. A collection of essays or papers on a particular subject by a number of contributors. The symposium is a bit casual in nature, and there is not much pressure on the delegates to perform or present lectures in the best possible manner as is the case in other academic events. There are lunch breaks, tea, snacks, etc. for breaking the ice and networking. Conference: A formal meeting of people with a shared interest, typically one that takes place over several days. For Ex: an international conference on the environment.




Is it an international Symposium?


Yes, it is an International Symposium. And, it is Seven in a series of the international symposium dedicated to the advancement in theory and practices in education, being organized by CCE Oy, Finland.




Who should attend?


Any education enthusiast and entrepreneurship educator can participate in this symposium. Researchers and Teachers (pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher section), principals, educators, trainers, students from teacher education are welcome to present their ideas. We are also encouraging government representatives who can present government, educational policies and their research.




Why we should attend?


Children love to be creative and when stress-free, they perform their best. By fostering, encouraging and being conducive towards this most important need of a child, we can remarkably improve the overall quality of education towards children. This Symposium is one of the series of international symposiums being organized by CCE Oy, focussing on “Education Through Creativity”. Paper presentation is not mandatory for attending the Symposium.

Can I receive academic credit by attending the conference?


CCE Finland Oy will provide the certificate for the participation, paper presentation, creative classroom & socratic dialogue after successful participation in the Symposium. If one would like to receive the academic credits, kindly consult your university. CCE Finland Oy has no role to play in giving credit.




Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?


CCE is unable to assist with travel or registration costs.




Will I receive a certificate of attendance?


Yes, the participants are eligible for certificates at the end of the session.For those who won’t be attending the full event can ask for the soft copy of the certificate by sending the request on info@ccefinland.org




I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure?


A letter of invitation will be issued to all the registered participants who have made full payment in advance. As per the guidelines from the Finnish embassy we cannot issue the invitation before receiving the full payment.




What kind of weather should I anticipate?

Is Wi-Fi Provided?


Free (limited bandwidth) Wi-Fi is available in the main meeting areas and in nearly all session rooms. Due to the limited bandwidth, Wi-Fi is not recommended for use by exhibitors for their displays/presentations.




What is the attire?


The dress code for the Conference is business casual. Meeting room temperatures will vary, so wear layered clothing to ensure your personal comfort. We also recommend comfortable shoes.




What is the required type of Visa for the Symposium?


For Finland, Symposium Schengen Visa is required.You need to apply to Finland Embassy or any Schengen country consulate or embassy in your country of residence.
