10th International Symposium Highlights-

University of Jyväskylä (Jyväskylän yliopisto) with The Council for Creative Education (CCE Finland)  has been celebrating the World Creativity and Innovation Day in April since April 2020.  UNESCO has declared April 21st as World Creativity and Innovation Day, followed by World Earth Day on April 22.

Commemorating these special days - JYU and CCE are now eager to welcome researchers and educators worldwide for its 10th Symposium on Creative education. This year the main theme is Educational Technology for Creative Education.

Through this symposium, CCE Finland aims to provide a common global forum for esteemed researchers, teachers, ICT professionals, students, and educators to present their research/innovation on how creativity plays an essential role in designing new teaching-learning solutions.

Welcome Message

What is Hackathon?

Hackathons are events where like-minded people come together to ‘hack’ innovative ideas and build realistic tech solutions to implement those ideas.

The goal of a hackathon is to solve challenges throughout the event and create a fully functioning usable software or hardware product or prototype by the end of the event.

Who can participate in #CreativeHack2023?

Participation is open to all the teachers, educators, and researchers interested in designing new apps or sharing their ideas or pedagogical know-how.  Also, it's open for the students of education, IT, and education technology departments interested in helping to create the apps/services and coding. We are also encouraging government representatives who can present government, educational policies and their research.

What’s new in the 10th Symposium in 2023?

Hybrid Conference

Like last year (9th Symposium), but in an enhanced way, we will have the conference in hybrid mode. This will allow more participation, and since this year's theme is education technology we will use the state of art tools for collaboration and online conferencing.
