Day 2 Recap: 11th International Symposium on Creative Education!



Day 2 of the 11th International Symposium on Creative Education unfolded with enriching discussions and presentations, highlighting the role of happiness in nurturing creativity. 




It was a dynamic continuation of insightful conversations and transformative ideas. Building upon the theme of "Engagement," the day commenced with eager anticipation following the successful reception from the previous evening. Participants eagerly dove into a series of sessions, including the highly anticipated #CreativeHack2024 hackathon.





Prof. Eero Ropo from the University of Tampere delivered a captivating keynote address on "Identity, Happiness, and Creativity," offering profound insights into theoretical and practical aspects of education. Following this, Session 3 of Paper Presentations featured esteemed speakers who shared valuable insights on enhancing student engagement, comparative education systems, and fostering belonging among multilingual learners in US schools.






Throughout the symposium, innovative initiatives such as the SISU Box, SISU Books, and SEL workbook were highlighted, revolutionizing early childhood education with their fresh approaches.




Additionally, Session 4 of Paper Presentations provided a platform for Dr. Thaniya Yaodum and Dr. Srividya Muthuvel to share their research on experiential learning and artistic intelligence and creativity, respectively.





The symposium also celebrated Sacred Heart School, Kalyan, the first school in Thane District of Maharashtra, India, to embark on the CCE Finland Accreditation journey. Their commitment to experiential learning aligned with the academic curriculum stands as another testament to CCE's dedication to bringing creativity into education.




The day reached its zenith with the final keynote address by Prof. Yashwant Pathak on "Cross Cultures: Conflicts, Mitigation, and Understanding Root Causes of Conflicts Leading to Happiness."







As the symposium drew to a close, heartfelt gratitude was extended to all participants, speakers, and organizers for their invaluable contributions.
