CCE is glad to launch its first online pre-conference before the 6th Symposium. The theme for the conference is Creativity, Imagination & Technology. The event is to be held online on 28th June 2018 from 14:00 to 17:00 hours.

 

During the pre-conference session, the presenters will speak about their learnings from the previous conferences on creativity and how successful they are to apply the same in their research field.

 

Themes for pre-conference event are:

Vijaya Bhanu

I am working as a teacher for the past 20 years. For the past 8 years, I have been experimenting on the third gogy of the education system named, "Heutagogy" which means "Self determined learning. I have published a book on Heutagogy written by 13 students of grade V. I wish to propagate this research worldwide and happy to share that the founder of "Heutagogy", Stewart Hase is so supportive towards my research.

Khulud Saleh

I am an enthusiastic leader of learning, a willing learner, and a hard worker. Fully committed to my work and willing to be moulded into what my career

needs deem fit.I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Effat University in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Certified trainer in classroom management from Time To Teach centre in the U.S.Currently studying for my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Roehampton University in London. I am the principal and coordinator of Green Leaves preschool.

Elena Chukhlantseva

I am an education expert with a broad background in International and Comparative Education, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Education Research. My particular strengths are hands-on pre-primary education management and teaching experiences in multicultural and multilingual settings. Among the key interests are learning theories and practices, Early Childhood Education curriculum development and implementation, strategies for working with children with behavioral and learning difficulties.

Jenny Beachum 

Jenny Beachum is a primary school teacher based in Australia who holds a Bachelor of Education (Honours I) from the University of Sydney. She is passionate about Arts-based pedagogies that empower student's self-confidence, strengthen their connection to identity and foster innovative thinking. She will be discussing about "The Potential for Deeper Learning through Creative Collaboration", from the perspective of a primary teacher facilitating an experience for my class (based on a current collaboration with a graffiti artist here in Sydney) and the observations I have made as a researcher in schools both in Australia and Finland.

She works as a university lecturer in English Language Teaching section at the Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University. As English is a foreign language in Thailand, there are different approaches that have been introduced, studied, and applied in different types of schools and classrooms.She has been inspired by the power of children's play and various kinds of play activities for its natural ways of human's learning in all developmental

Recently, She has worked with her college students on designing lessons with ICT application for classroom contexts to enhance language skills.
