The PG Diploma in Educational Leadership develops the knowledge and practical skills needed to lead schools, support teachers, build collaborative cultures, and create high-quality learning environments.
Inspired by leadership principles from Finland’s education system and adapted for international contexts, the programme goes beyond theory. You will explore Finnish education, curriculum, 21st-century skills, shared leadership, assessment, modern learning environments, and practical school leadership through case studies and real-world scenarios.
By the end of the programme, you will have a clearer leadership vision and practical action plan to support teachers, strengthen your school culture, make informed decisions, and lead meaningful school improvement.

Internship
The internship is a mandatory part of the programme, giving participants an opportunity to apply their learning through a practical educational leadership or research project, with guidance from CCE Finland.
Is the internship mandatory?
Yes. Successful completion of the internship or an approved research project is required to receive the programme certificate.
How long is the internship?
The internship takes place during the final four weeks of the programme, with approximately 20–30 hours of professional engagement distributed flexibly across this phase.
Where can the internship take place?
The internship may be completed at a partner or nearby school, or at your own workplace if you already work in an educational organisation.
Does CCE Finland arrange the internship placement?
CCE Finland provides guidance regarding possible internship or project pathways; participants are generally expected to identify a suitable placement or professional context.
What if I cannot physically attend a school?
Participants may undertake an approved online research, case-study, or school-improvement project with guidance from the CCE Finland programme team.
What will I do and submit during the internship?
You will apply programme concepts to a real educational challenge, develop practical strategies or an action plan, and submit an internship or research report documenting your learning and reflections.
