Simran Ballani, COO and Pedagogical Expert at CCE Finland

Simran is a passionate educator with over half a decade of experience in developing schools globally on Finnish Pedagogy and decade of experience specializing in social-emotional learning (SEL) and early childhood development. Her research has focused on the impact of SEL programs like Etiquette Learning and Public Speaking on fostering social-emotional competencies in young learners. Currently pursuing a doctorate that explores the connection between SEL and leadership success, Simran is dedicated to helping educators implement research-based strategies to empower students.
Background: Simran's extensive experience and ongoing research enable her to provide practical training sessions that equip educators with the tools to create positive learning environments. Her sessions focus on fostering emotional well-being, academic growth, and the development of strong leadership skills among students.

Nelli Louhivuori, Pedagogical Director at CCE Finland
Nelli is a professional trainer and teacher (MEd) from Finland. She has specialized in elementary school education and has worked as a classroom teacher and an Italian language teacher in Finland. Her professional passion is co-teaching. She has co-taught and trained Finnish elementary school teachers to use co-teaching in their work.
As a Pedagogical Director with CCE Finland, Nelli shares her educational experience and expertise of the Finnish education system. She works with CCE’s online courses including her own co-teaching course. In addition, she takes care of the international delegations that participate in CCE’s educational experiences in Finland.
