In the rapidly evolving global landscape, education is no longer confined to traditional learning methods. With technological advancements, shifting socio-economic paradigms, and the demands of the modern workforce, the need for teaching and learning 21st-century skills has become paramount. Addressing these concerns, the CCE Finland - Thailand Joint Conference at Thaksin University focused on equipping students with essential competencies for the 21st century. This conference brought together educators, thought leaders, and policymakers to discuss, share, and collaborate on innovative approaches to education that nurture the skills necessary for the future.
21st-century skills encompass a broad range of abilities that students must develop to thrive in a rapidly changing world. These skills include critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, digital literacy, and problem-solving, among others. As global challenges become more complex, educators must integrate these competencies into their teaching practices to prepare students for an uncertain future. The conference emphasized the urgency of rethinking traditional education models and integrating skills that foster adaptability, resilience, and a growth mindset.
