Internship Options
As part of the Diploma in Early Childhood Education, every student must complete an internship to gain practical experience. You may choose any one of the following options:
Option A – Local Internship
Join any nearby daycare, preschool, or children’s activity center for a period of 4 weeks.
Objective: Observe and understand the implementation of early childhood practices you
have learned during the course.
Option B – Workplace Project
If you are already working in a school or related organization, you can design and conduct a project at your own workplace.
Requirement: Submit a project report at the end of the internship describing your work, findings, and reflections.
Option C – Project work with CCE
If neither Option A nor B suits your situation, CCE offers an opportunity to work on an Early Childhood Education project.
Complete the assigned project and submit a final project report for evaluation. The details of it will be discussed in a separate meeting with the course participant. This is not a full-time internship, which means you can continue your own job and work on CCE's project part-time.
Note: Completion of the internship (any one option) is mandatory for receiving the Diploma in Early Childhood Education certificate.
