When will the symposium take place? Where is it located?

The 8th International Symposium on creativity will take place on April 21-22, 2021. It will be an online Conference. It can be watched from CCE’s Youtube channel, CCE’s website, CCE Facebook.

What is the structure of the conference ?

Considering the technical glitches and different time zones, CCE has come up with a unique approach for the online conference. The conference will be divided into two parts. The first part will be streaming the pre-recorded videos by the speakers according to the theme of their talk. The second part is the online live interaction with the speakers.

How can I register? What are the registration fees?

You can register by filling up the registration form on the conference webpage.

There are no registration fees for the viewers. The presenters need to pay a small fees. The EBD offer (30 Euros) is valid till 10 April 2021. After that the fees will rise.

I filled out the registration form as a presenter. How to proceed further?

Thank you for taking the first step. Now, the next step is to make a payment. After you make the payment, you will receive the notification. Then you are requested to send your video not later than 10th April. The instructions for making the video and the topic for presentation are given on the conference webpage. For the presenters, the certificate is included in the registration fees.

Do I need to submit an abstract for my presentation?

No. You need to submit it in a PowerPoint deck.You need to submit 10 minutes of recording to introduce yourself and the topic being presented by 10th April 2021

How to record my presentation?

Try to record the video in high quality.
Use an external microphone and not the built-in microphone of your laptop - if possible.
Introduce yourself briefly at the beginning of the recording - 30 seconds
Preferably if the back wall of your back is pale.
Be careful not to include other sounds in your recording.
Make sure the sound is clear.
The video should be properly illuminated on your face.
When you have finished recording, check it out before uploading. You can also record it with the help of ZOOM or Google meet.

How to get a certificate as a ‘VIEWER’?

You are expected to be an active viewer to get the badge for your attendance. This badge can be obtained by writing a blog or post about the conference by April 15, 2021 (in 300 words) and sharing it on various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.).

WEF Certificate will be issued by paying registration fees of Euro 10.

CAN I UTILIZE THE 30 STUDY CREDITS IN MY UNIVERSITY STUDIES IN FINLAND

Yes, most of them. Depending the school this varies between 15-20 points

DO I NEED TO TAKE AN IELTS OR TOEFL EXAM BEFORE APPLYING INTO THE PROGRAM ?

We offer alternative ways to prove your English language level. If you don’t have IELTS, Optionaly, try Duolingo English Test, which costs 50 Euros online for practise and you get results in few days.

HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO PROGRESS IN ENGLISH OVER ONE SEMESTER?

Over one semester, you will improve your English language skills to upper intermediate level.

DO I NEED TO RETAKE THE IELTS TEST AFTER COMPLETING MY ONLINE STUDIES ?

No additional testing is required after completing the program.

WHEN ARE THE CLASSES HELD?

All classes take place between 8 AM and 12 PM Helsinki/Finland time. In addition, you will have access to a variety of pre-recorded lectures.

HOW WILL THE STUDENTS BE ASSESSED?

We use a variety of different assessment methods: Written assignments, participation, presentations, and exams. Throughout the program, you will receive support and feedback from your teachers. We also use peer and self-assessment methods to encourage you to take greater responsibility for your learning.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T PASS?

You are allowed to retake exams and assignments. If you fail the re-exams, you might have to retake the whole study course.

DO YOU OFFER GUARANTEED PROGRESSION TO YOUR PARTNER UNIVERSITIES?

Yes. After successfully completing the Online Pathway Fastrack Diploma, you will be eligible to enter year one at your pre-selected study program.

How do I add a workshop to my registration? Are workshops included in conference registration?

You can register for workshops on the registration form. Workshops are not included in conference registration and incur an additional fee. For more details visit

I want to attend one day of the conference only, is that possible?"

Yes, one-day conference registration is available. Please note that your registration is valid only for sessions and events on that day and separate invoice will be created for the payment.

One day session costs 150 EUR for Conference day for all categories.

And 200 EUR for workshop and school visit.

I just want to attend one session. Is that possible?

No, that is not possible.

Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I want to attend?

Yes, it is mandatory to pre-register for the conference. On the spot registrations will not be entertained.

You can substitute someone else by emailing info@ccefinland.org with the new registrant's name and contact information. This should be done 1 month prior to the start of the event.

What is the registration fee for Symposium?

Do you have an early bird discount?

Yes, we do have super early bird discounts on symposium & conference fees.The last date for the early bird discount is 31.12.2019.

Are there any discounts for groups?

For a group of 5 or more: 5% discount will be offered on each participants fee.

For a group of 10 or more: 10% discount will be offered on each participants fee.

Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accommodations?

All costs for air transportation and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the participant.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Yes. After you register online, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration.

What are the cancellation possibilities and refund policies?

Up to 90 days: 80% of the cost will be refunded

सध्या जग एका वेगळ्याच संकटाचा सामना करत आहे. शिक्षणक्षेत्रातही त्यामुळे अभूतपूर्व बदल झालेले आपण बघत आहोत. या बदलांसाठी आपण खरंच तयार होतो का? आपल्या शिक्षण पद्धतीने आपल्या शिक्षकांना, पालकांना आणि मुलांना यासाठी तयार केलं होतं का? हे आणि असे अनेक प्रश्न या निमित्ताने आपल्या समोर उभे ठाकले आहेत. आगामी काळातले शिक्षण नक्कीच बदलावे लागेल. अर्थातच त्याचा परिणाम शिक्षक आणि पालक या दोन्हीही घटकांवर होणार आहे. या बदलाचं स्वरूप कसं असेल? कुठले बदल घडायला हवे ? का? आणि कसे? कुठे आणि केंव्हा? या सगळ्या प्रश्नांची उकल करण्यासाठी आपण सगळे ऑनलाईन भेटू या.

या परिषदेच्या निमित्ताने शिक्षणाकडे बघण्याची वेगळी दृष्टी आपल्याला तयार करता येईल का? नक्की कुठले पैलू महत्त्वाचे ठरणार आहेत? पालकांची भूमिका कशी बदलणार आहे ? शिक्षकांची भूमिका कशी बदलणार आहे ? आपण पूर्वी या अनुषंगाने काही प्रयोग केले आहेत का? प्रकल्प-पद्धती, ज्ञानरचनावाद यासारख्या विविध पद्धतींचा या सगळ्या परिस्थितीत कसा वापर करून घेता येईल? कोरोनासारख्या संकटांमुळे होम स्कुलिंगचा विस्तार अधिक होईल का? संगणक, विविध वेबसाईट, आंतरजाल, भ्रमणध्वनी (मोबाईल) या साधनांची या काळात होत असलेली मदत, त्याची समाजातील सर्व स्तरांमध्ये असलेली उपलब्धता किंवा अनुपलब्धता आणि त्याचा मुलांच्या शिक्षणावर होणार परिणाम यांसारखे अनेक पैलू या परिषदेच्या मंचावर मांडले जावे. आपले या बाबतीतले सर्व विचार आमच्यासाठी आणि शिक्षणक्षेत्रासाठी महत्त्वाचे आहेत.

What are the requirements to apply to the program ECE online with you?

To apply for the ECE online course, you need to fill in the registration form on the ECE course webpage and pay the fees. There is no special documents required.

Is the course online?

Yes, it's an online course.

What is the duration of the course?

The duration of the course is 12 weeks. Out of 12 weeks, 8 weeks are dedicated for theory lessons and 4 weeks for internship program.

Would there be assessment at the end of the course? If yes, what would be the mode of assessment?"

Assignments are given regularly throughout the whole course. The participants are expected /supposed to complete them and submit /return it online into Google classroom.

If there is a technical difficulty in Google classroom then the participant can submit it via email.

How is the course conducted?/What is the mode of instruction?

We use Google classroom as the learning platform for the course. All the study material, presentations by the teacher will be uploaded to it. You will also need to submit your assignments there. There will be a lecture or new reading - writing assignment every week. All the lectures are pre-recorded and will be uploaded in the Google classroom in serial order one at a time.

Internship week 1 - Observation of the activities in ECE center (ECEC)

What kind of certification is awarded at the end of the program?

All participants will receive the prestigious Diploma certificate from CCE Finland with Education Finland logo - CCE Finland is an official member of "Education Finland" governed by Finnish National Agency for Education under the Ministry of Education, Govt of Finland. It will be the digital certificate.

Where can I do the internship? Do I need to travel to Finland for the internship?

You can do the internship at your own location or near vicinity. You don’t need to travel to Finland for that.

For the internship, how many hours of participation will that be? What if I can’t a place for the internship?"

At least 6hrs per day for 4 weeks is advisable. If you can't find the place for an internship then it will be a problem, but normally our experience goes that everyone finds an internship place as the owners of the ECE centers don't need to pay anything to the interns. You will receive all the documents needed for the application of intern by CCE Finalnd in google classroom.

I do not live in Finland. For internship, will you be able to provide the school to me as well?"

Finding an internship place is the responsibility of the students. So we don't find the internship place for you but we do give you the document support like the covering letter for the internship.

Is this diploma valid all around the world?

Yes, it is valid all around the world. This is an additional course which helps you in developing your professional development skills but it is not sufficient for the job application.

To get the jobs in Finland as a kindergarten teacher you need to have some basic degrees. You can refer the following link for more details:

For the rest of the world, it is advisable that you check the requirements for being a ECE teacher in your country of residence. Getting a job also depends on your other qualifications and skills that are not related to this course.

There is good news for you. Starting from June 2019, we have rolling admissions. It means that you don’t need to wait for the next course to begin but you can enroll in the same course within 6 weeks of the course. Of course, you need to go serially as the sessions are interrelated and every session has an assignment. Without completing all the assignments, you will not be able to get the final certificate.

Is this Diploma course as per the Finnish education system? Will it give an insight about Finnish curriculum?

The content of Diploma in ECE comprises international understanding about ECE with Finnish approach of implementation. As this course is meant to be for international educators, we have considered this content will be most suitable for all the teachers enrolling from various locations. So far this course has gained traction from 40 countries. The theory part is mostly international which is based on contemporary knowledge about education in early years, neuroscience and theories of education. The practices in Early childhood education that are described in this course are from the Finnish Early Childhood centers.

Preschool in a box i.e Early Childhood Education box presents a Package for use in the real-time teaching and learning situation.

How does it work?

Use of the ECE box is meant to mainly benefit learners of three (3) to six (6) years of age. Also, most of the activities, ideas, teaching and learning aids may be successfully used in work with younger children when modificated and adjusted to needs.

The toolkit can be used by teachers, other educators, parents, or any other persons working with children and willing to make use of best practices. It also contains a few items of the same supply to be used by several children in a group simultaneously during a specific activity. .

How much does it cost?

What does CCE box contain?

The Package consists of two parts: a User Guide in the form of a manual/booklet and a Toolkit in the form of the collection of teaching and learning aids/items/supplies.

The User Guide serves the following purposes:

1) Introduces the concept of ECE in a box;

2) Describes the basic theoretical implications and pedagogy behind the concept of ECE in a box;

3) Provides step-by-step descriptions and instructions of educational activities that are fun and easy to replicate and of how the Toolkit materials (aids/items/supplies) are used;

4) Equip ECE box users with additional tips on how activities can be modified or extended to diversify learning experiences to maximize the learner’s potential.

Why does preschool in a box?

The value of the ECE Box is in the teaching and learning aids/items/supplies have multiple purpose application and therefore enable educators and other practitioners to deliver important topics from multiple perspectives at the interface of cognitive, linguistic, personal, social, emotional and physical domains of children’s development. Thus, a single item can be used in a more targeted way to practice a specific skill during an activity/lesson/exercise (e.g. using a ball for practicing gross motor skills like catching, throwing, rolling, etc.). Or, the same item and, alternatively, a set of a few aids/items can engage a child’s several senses and skill areas since there are no limits to way that aids can be utilized when supplementing a more complex activity/lesson (e.g., a clear pocket cube with number cards and a ball for bouncing a number of time shown on the cube).

What are the requirements to apply to the Program in Pedagogical Leardership online with you?

To apply for the Program in Pedagogical Leadership online course, you need to fill in the registration form on the Pedagogical Leardership course webpage and pay the fees. There are no special documents required.

Yes, it's an online distance education course.

What is the duration of the course?

The duration of the course is 12 weeks. Out of 12 weeks, 8 weeks are dedicated for theory lessons and 4 weeks for internship program.

Assignments are given regularly throughout the course. The participants are expected to complete them and submit /return it online into Google classroom.

If there is a technical difficulty in Google classroom then the participant can submit it via email.

How is the course conducted?What is the mode of instruction?

We use Google Classroom as the learning platform for the course. All the study material, presentations by the trainer will be uploaded on google classroom. You will also need to submit your assignments there. There will be a lecture or new reading - writing assignment every week. All the lectures are pre-recorded and will be uploaded in the Google classroom in serial order one at a time.

What kind of certification is awarded at the end of the program?

All participants will receive the prestigious certificate from CCE Finland with Education Finland logo - CCE Finland is an official member of "Education Finland" governed by Finnish National Agency for Education under the Ministry of Education, Govt of Finland. It will be the digital certificate.

Where can I do the internship? Do I need to travel to Finland for the internship?

You can do the internship at your own location or near vicinity. You don’t need to travel to Finland for that.

For the internship, how many hours of participation will that be? What if I can’t a place for the internship?"

At least 6hrs per day for 4 weeks is advisable. If you can't find the place for an internship then it will be a problem, but normally our experience goes that everyone finds an internship place as the owners of the ECE centers don't need to pay anything to the interns. You will receive all the documents needed for the application of intern by CCE Finalnd in google classroom.

I do not live in Finland. For internship, will you be able to provide the school to me as well?"

Finding an internship place is the responsibility of the students. So we don't find the internship place for you but we do give you the document support like the covering letter for the internship.

Is this Program valid all around the world?

Yes, it is valid all around the world. This is an additional course which helps you in developing your professional development skills but it is not sufficient for the job application.

Is the Internship is mandatory? Is there any alternate solution for the same?

Yes. An internship is not just working on the job there, but it is a process by which you can be able to develop the idea of demonstrating the principles.

All the programs in CCE Finland are based on realizing the concept through working. Whatever we learn, we try to reflect on it, relate our experiences, and then implement it. We see and experience ourselves, whether those concepts worked. Based on this principle, we have combined all our courses with internship or project development. The basic idea is to verify our learning or self-evaluate our knowledge and see it in practice. So to achieve this goal, there can be multiple options. The first is a standard internship where you go and work with one of the preschools or schools or any of the organizations where you can be able to demonstrate your skills. In the COVID-19 situation, we have to follow social distancing and are forced to lockdown at home. All the schools are closed. Many times we can not see any near term where we can be able to complete those internship programs. So in these cases, our principle remains the same as how we can demonstrate the skills. Now there are two-three options that can be easily acceptable and demonstratable.

Under the project development

(1) You may be able to develop a program or project within your school where you will be implementing the skills that you have learned through the leadership program or the early childhood education development program. Under that, you can be able to create a project plan and how you are going to implement it, document it in detail. And then, you design a step-by-step mechanism of how you are going to implement it once the schools open.

Under research and observation

(2) Based on whatever you learned in both the programs, can you be able to relate these experiences in the real-time world within your schools?

And those real-time experiences, you have to demonstrate it, document it, and then make a case study and write a blog or article on that and then submit it.

(3) Peer to peer learning - We are fortunate that every year we get educators from more than 14 countries here in our programs. For the same program, we can create a network. We have a network of educators where we can connect you with other peer principals or peer teachers and where you will share the experience and create a typical project, learn from each other's experiences and document the learning, and demonstrate the skills in a defined manner.

So what does this mean in a defined manner?

You may be able to document it as a program or as a project. Then it will be easier for you to list down how many skills you can be able to demonstrate, out of which you learn. It is not only skills but also a creation of new knowledge through which we can develop.

We are sure that most of you are highly creative and highly effective leaders, so how we can be able to create and demonstrate a learning program where peer to peer assignments will be there. You have to work with other principals or teachers and then lead their team or guide them in such a way that they will be able to develop a new program within their schools. At the same time, with the feedback of the other teacher how you can be able to create a program within your school.

You can also suggest creative ways to manage the COVID-19 internship program for early childhood education and program in the pedagogical leadership course.

What is the difference between Conference and Symposium?

Symposium: A conference or meeting to discuss a particular subject. A collection of essays or papers on a particular subject by a number of contributors. The symposium is a bit casual in nature, and there is not much pressure on the delegates to perform or present lectures in the best possible manner as is the case in other academic events. There are lunch breaks, tea, snacks, etc. for breaking the ice and networking.

Conference: A formal meeting of people with a shared interest, typically one that takes place over several days. For Ex: an international conference on the environment.

Yes, it is an International Symposium. And, it is ninth in a series of the international symposium dedicated to the advancement in theory and practices in education, being organized by CCE Oy, Finland.

Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?

I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure?

A letter of invitation will be issued to all the registered participants who have made full payment in advance.As per the guidelines from the Finnish embassy we cannot issue the invitation before receiving the full payment.
