Finland Summer School 2027 is a one-week immersive program in Helsinki (31 May – 5 June 2027) designed for teachers, school leaders, and education professionals who want to experience the Finnish education system first-hand. Participants will learn directly from Finnish education experts, explore innovative learning spaces, and gain practical insights into wellbeing-centred education, student agency, and phenomenon-based learning.

About program

The Finland Summer School 2027 is a 6-day immersive learning experience in Helsinki, Finland. This program offers a real, on-ground understanding of how Finnish education works in everyday practice.

Participants engage in expert-led sessions, school and learning space visits, and interactive workshops. The program focuses on key elements of Finnish pedagogy such as student wellbeing, formative assessment, and phenomenon-based learning.

Participants will also choose a specialisation track aligned with their interests and reflect on how these practices can be adapted to their own school environments.

 

The program includes accommodation, meals, learning visits, and certification by CCE Finland – Council for Creative Education Finland.

Certification

All participants will receive a Finland School Certificate issued by CCE Finland – Council for Creative Education Finland.

Objectives 

To provide educators with first-hand experience of the Finnish education system and practical approaches that can be applied in their own classrooms, including wellbeing-focused teaching, formative assessment, and phenomenon-based learning.

Program Outline

The program includes expert-led sessions, learning space visits, interactive workshops, and a one-day specialisation track in either STEAM & Innovation or Early Childhood Education. Reflection and networking opportunities are integrated throughout the program.

Schedule

A 6-day immersive summer program (31 May – 5 June 2027) including learning sessions, educational visits, specialisation track, and a final reflection with certificate ceremony.
